Ride Quest doesn't collect your data. Here are the details.
This policy covers the Ride Quest iPhone app, made by Stoddard Software Services ("we," "us," or "our"). In short: Ride Quest doesn't collect any personal data. There's no account, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising and no tracking. Where this policy differs from our general privacy policy, this one applies to Ride Quest.
Ride Quest stores what you enter: cabin numbers, colours, character names, notes, ride details and any photos you add. This is kept:
Nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else.
Ride Quest only sees the photos you choose to add, one at a time. It doesn't get access to the rest of your photo library. The camera is used only when you tap "Take a photo". Before saving a photo, the app shrinks it and removes its metadata, including where it was taken.
The widget reads your progress from the copy of your log on your device. It doesn't send anything anywhere.
Settings lets you export your log as a CSV or JSON file. The file goes only where you choose to send it from the share sheet.
Ride Quest doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because we don't hold any of your Ride Quest data, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You stay in control of it through the app and your iCloud account. If you email us, that correspondence is handled as described in our general privacy policy, including your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR and US state privacy laws.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
